LSI F1 SEASON 11 + F1.5 SEASON 9
Posted, Monday, 14 August 2023
Hey LSI,
The F1 23 official seasons are finally here!
The official seasons will consist of two tiers, with the F1 World Championship hosted on Fridays at 21:00 CEST, and the F1.5 EU Championship hosted on Saturdays at 21:00 CEST (check here to see what times the races are for you). Certain assist restrictions will apply as usual for each tier.
Important occurrences for this season will be an updated rule book released soon before the start of the championships (so drivers are aware now, the formation lap will be enabled whereas the red flag feature will be disabled), and an increase in content across our social media platforms, including various different forms of content.

The formats that we will be using throughout the season will vary from race to race, and that will be clarified in the calendar section below. Here are the details of each format:

Fastest Lap: 1 point awarded for the fastest lap in the main race only
Sprint Format:

Main Race: A 50% distance race with the top 10 finishers getting points (20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1)

Fastest Lap: 1 point awarded for the fastest lap in the main race only
Provisional Calendar
Provisional Calendar can be found on the Calendar Page
We will also be syncing some of our races with the Formula One World Championship calendar, including Italy [Monza], Singapore, Japan, Qatar, Mexico, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi. To clarify, some of the circuits have not been synced with our calendar in order to optimise the season and choose the most popular circuits for the drivers enjoyment.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the above calendar is provisional, and some slight changes may be made soon. If alterations are made, we will update everyone immediately, therefore, no driver needs to worry about last minute changes.
Season Registration
If you are interested in competing in the LSI championships this season, simply fill out the Registration Form and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Please note that the teams you drove for in the previous official season may influence the team that you will be driving for in the new season coming up. Drivers that did not compete full time last season will be given brand knew seats according to what is available (if you are not aware, the teams you were driving for in the previous official season may have an affect on the teams you drive for in the future seasons, for example, if you drive for Ferrari in season 10, you will take priority for the Ferrari seat in season 11 as you already occupy it, unless you state in your registration form that you would prefer a different team/would rather be in the same team as a desired team mate). Unless affected by the above statement, a drivers team will be decided in championship order based on last season's results.
If you fill out this form incorrectly at any point, you might still be permitted to race, however, you will be put to the bottom of the priority list. If you have any questions, please ask.
More information and updates will be available soon on the new season, but for now, make sure you check out the registration form and the teams will be announced between the 24th and 27th August.
